Today was one of those days

Today was long, boring, upsetting, and just a waste of time. This morning I just couldn't bring myself out of bed, causing me to miss university. I just couldn't bring myself to force a smile for the day - arguments over the weekend really drained me. So I cwtched on the sofa and watched TV all day - quite literally, all day. I didn't make this blog to bore you with my sob stories though.

I started my diet today though which boosted my mood a little bit (I bet your thinking WHY would a diet boost my mood?) The Slimming World diet is fab for those who love their food.

Today my diet consisted of -

Breakfast
Weetabix, and grapes
Lunch
Jacket potato, beans and a bit of cheese
Dinner
and to celebrate the Chinese New Year me and my boyfriend made a scrumptious chicken stir fry.
Snacks/Drinks
Cup of tea with 1 level tsp of sugar, Kit Kat chunky, Coke zero, 4 pints of water.
Overall thoughts
Yummy! I had a chocolate bar and sugar in my tea which counted towards my syns, but overall today has been a good start and I am glad!

To all those wanted to diet, and don't know where to start - I highly recommend this diet as it doesn't restrict many things - you can still have your sneaky treats and still be within your daily syns/calorie limit! If you want to know more about this diet (and don't want to pay the ridiculous amount) then give me an email - I'm not shy!

So here it is..

Okay so if you read my last post, you know that I am on a mission to lose weight before I jet off to Turkey in June.. I have been meaning to lose weight for a while now. I have been with my boyfriend 20 months, and in that time I have put on 2 stone 8 lbs. I intend to lose that before I go on holiday which is a reasonable goal of about 2lbs a week. I am doing the Slimming World diet (but on my own two feet this time). I did subscribe before Christmas and I lost 6lbs in 4 weeks which I was happy with, however it all piled on over Christmas so back to square one!

I am more than motivated right now and committed to this. I am sick and tired of seeing people around the same height as me, and already very slim (size 8-10 and less) however that is not 'slim' enough. That isn't healthy at all, and it frustrates me when overweight and/or curvy girls like me, who have to work hard to lose weight, actually come around to doing it and we have this on our backs. To all those reading who it applies to, get a grip.

So here I am. My starting weight is 13 stone 2 lbs (ouch), and my goal (which is very realistic and healthy might I add) is to lose all the weight I have put back on by June 8th. Motivated? Very. I am determined to do this. I will look good and feel great at the end of my journey.

Off to do my online shop for right food now (wish me luck!)
